Escape : The Minutes Before A Fire

Publication book dedicated to the lost architecture of fire escapes. This book documents the final minutes before a fire sparks. Featuring Downtown Houston, this photographic story is represented in a 9.25x10.5 in. perfect bound book. The front cover displays the font Mrs. Eaves and further complimented by Univers in subheadings and call-outs. Photography is mono-chrochromatic throughout the book and was further processed in post production.

Sophie Scholl : The Final Days

The film was a dramatization of the final days of Sophie Scholl, one of the most famous members of the German World War II anti-Nazi resistance movement, The White Rose. A 24x50in. poster that captures the mood of the dramatic film as Sophie sacrifices herself to save the lives of her people. The white rose found at the top center is still crisp white even though being surrounded by the bloody red that is eneloping the flyers around it.

Platelet : Type Specimen Book

This book describes all aspects of the emigre font, Platelet, in a sewn book with a smaller booklet wrapped around that provides a Question and Answer portion about the font.

Foldable poster based on the chapter from Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. The book featured the details of the Roe vs. Wade case where in 1973, the legalization of abortion has a direct correlation with the drop of crime rate in the 1990's. This poster features quotes from the book as well as photography from the 1970's, when abortion became legal.

Trekies : Brand Standards Manual

Brand standards manual for the cycling group Trekies. The Trekies represent a group of Houstonians who enjoy the competetive sport of cycling. They were unbranded and needed to be recognizable in a large peloton. The manual is spiral bound and body text set in Cochin with Titlliam for the main headings.
